Melissa Reeves is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Utah and a member of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Her lab studies tumor heterogeneity and its impact on the immune response to cancer. Dr. Reeves’ research has found that tumor cells shape the spatial organization of immune cells with a tumor on a highly local level, and she is currently studying how this local organization impacts the way tumors respond to immunotherapy.
