I am Msc Student under Prof. Rod Dunbar and Dr. Saem Park at the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. I am born and raised in Auckland and started working in the lab in late 2022 as an undergraduate student. My research area is digital pathology in the context of human and cancer immunology. My project combines the traditional methods of studying protein expression through multiplex immunohistology with the latest developments of digital phenotyping and image analysis to investigate the spatial interactions between dendritic cells and T cells in normal and tumour-infiltrated lymphoid tissues. My academic interest is to better understand the spatial patterns that can identify the mechanisms underpinning the T cell activation pathway in normal and tumour tissue microenvironments. My interests also include developing the whole tissue staining workflow for more high-plexed and deeper spatial analysis.
