I am a Cancer Immunologist in Assoc. Prof Paul Beavis’ laboratory with a specific research interest in understanding the immune-spatial tumour microenvironment and improving immune trafficking in solid tumours. My current research focuses on (1) the development of the next generation of CAR-T cells using CRISPR/Cas9 HDR technology and enhancing their engagement with host immune cells with nanobodies and (2) the identification of genes associated with the spatial distribution of T cells within solid tumours.
