- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
He holds a Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in tissue engineering, biomaterial scaffold design, and multi-omics bioinformatics. Adept at developing ECM-based hydrogels, characterizing materials, and analyzing proteome/transcriptome data computational tools. Strong background in mechanical engineering principles that inform advanced biomaterial testing and manufacturing. Passionate about bridging bench-to-bedside research to improve clinical outcomes in regenerative medicine. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at University of Maryland, College Park in the Jewell Research Lab. He develops biomaterials for therapeutic delivery of immuno-modulatory cues for autoimmune disease treatment. Furthermore, he is investigating the role innate cells play in promoting systemic tolerance with autoimmune therapies.
